Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other structure engineers, interns and designers and provide required project oversight, mentoring, and management of structure project budget and schedule
- Have proficiency in the following:
- Structural concepts, software, manuals and criteria related to transportation structures
- Technical writing
- Developing structural concepts and presentations for marketing pursuits * Use your interpersonal skills to coordinate with other disciplines and proactively resolve potential conflicts and concerns
- Use your problem-solving skills to propose innovative design solutions and approaches
- Grow your professional network by attending meetings and participating in interviews, presentations with various clients
- Assist in the strategy planning for the future growth of the PGA Structures Group particularly in the Winter Park Office
- Structural concepts, software, manuals and criteria related to transportation structures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Florida Professional Engineer’s License
- Proficient with Microstation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree with focus on structural engineering
- 10-15 year Professional Engineer (PE) with structural design experience
- Experience with FDOT projects in FDOT District 5 and Florida Turnpike Enterprise
