Technology Implementation and Support Specialist 


TITLE: Technology Implementation and Support Specialist 
LOCATION:  Winter Park/Orlando, FL
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent
STATUS: Full-time

Job Summary:
Patel, Greene & Associates (PGA) seeks a proactive and motivated Technology Implementation and Support Specialist to complement our Information Technology Team. This individual would support our business through technical problem-solving activities, managing physical and digital assets, as well as developing and maintaining technical documentation. Reporting to PGA’s Director of Technology, this entry-to-mid-level position comes with unlimited career growth potential.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Build, deliver (set up) computers and relevant peripherals.
  • Configure and deliver (set up) desktop VOIP phones.
  • Repair or replace defective hardware.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software.
  • Install and/or update software (programs).
  • Assist with various network administration tasks.
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of on-premise data storage.
  • Educate our Users about network and computer security best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Technology Support Specialist.
  • Essential knowledge of computer hardware and networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps and Services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with software deployment and related methodologies (ex. PDQ Deploy, PowerShell Scripting).
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities.
*Notes:
  • Some travel is required.
  • Regularly positions self to move, connect, and install computer and networking equipment (up to 30 pounds).
