Purpose & Need

As PGA’s newest service line, our Civil Site Group is busy building a strong client base and project backlog with some of Tampa’s most prominent institutions and companies. Civil Site engineers play a vital role in creating and maintaining the built environment. From helping design and build the structures that shape our communities, to coordinating and permitting drainage and utility systems, their role has become increasingly vital with the evolution of sustainable and resilient infrastructure practices. PGA seeks someone who is eager to support a diverse array of projects and grow professionally as the practice grows. What You'll Do

  • Proficient in all aspects of land development plans production and technical writing
  • Understand the concept of storm sewer design
  • Capable of serving in role of lead technical professional (LTP) for less complex tasks and projects
  • Capable of giving direction to Engineer Intern Trainee, Engineer Intern I, Designers, and Technician staff
  • Complete peer reviews, backchecking calculations, and completing tasks from start to finish
  • Increased role in marketing efforts, including occasional participation in presentations and interviews
  • Gain proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HY-8, ICPR, & ORD-SUDA
  • Requires minimal technical supervision of tasks by senior staff
  • Complete tasks and projects within established supervisor’s expectations
  • Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently

What You'll Need

  •  Bachelor's Degree, majoring in Engineering
  • Post-graduation experience of 2 - 4 years is preferred and an Engineering Intern (EI) certificate

What You'll Bring

  • Competent in all duties/responsibilities of an Engineer Intern Trainee and Engineer Intern I
  •  Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products
  •  Demonstrates leadership qualities on a regular basis
