What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Lead Technical Professional (LTP) for various landscape tasks and projects
  • Assist with marketing efforts (proposal preparation) to support the Landscape Architecture Group
  • Direct and mentor junior-level staff, designers, and other technical staff in completing tasks
  • Provide peer reviews on work products
  • Require moderate to minor technical supervision, seeking assistance when needed
  • Complete tasks and projects within established supervisor’s expectations
 

What You’ll Need

  • Education and Experience (Required)
  • Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or related field
  • Registered Landscape Architect (RLA)
  • 0-10 years of post-registration experience
  • International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Arborist Certification (Desired)

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of landscape design principles and policies
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Proficient in technical writing and delivering technical presentations on a variety of project-related topics
  • Ability to conduct field reviews and landscape installation inspections during construction
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with a variety of clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize assignments, manage time, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently at the direction of PGA’s Leadership Team
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation/ORD software, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), and Microsoft office Suite
  • Ability to prepare graphics using 2D/3D rendering software, visualization applications, ArcGIS, and photography (desired)
  • FDOT project experience (desired)
