UTampa Dickey Science Innovation Center
Located along the Hillsborough River on The University of Tampa’s downtown campus, the five-story Dickey Science Innovation Center will feature state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories designed to support collaboration, interdisciplinary learning, and discovery.
The 153,000-square-foot facility represents the most significant academic facility investment in the University’s 94-year history. Serving as the central academic hub for the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the building will also support coursework and research across the University. By bringing together teaching and research spaces currently located throughout campus, the new facility will strengthen connections among students, faculty, and academic disciplines.
Designed with flexibility and future-focused learning in mind, the Science Center will prepare students for careers in high-demand fields including healthcare, sustainability, biotechnology, forensic science, marine science, and related sciences.
The building’s riverfront location highlights UTampa’s academic and research ties to the Hillsborough River and Tampa Bay, while its views of downtown Tampa reflect the University’s longstanding connection to the city.
