New Hires

Amanda Ashby, AICP
Our PD&E Group has welcomed Amanda Ashby, AICP to the team! With more than 10 years of experience supporting the FDOT ETDM (Efficient Transportation Decision Making) process, public outreach, and feasibility studies documentation and analysis, Amanda brings valuable expertise to our growing PD&E Group.

Cristina Jackson, PE
Our Roadway Group is excited to welcome Cristina Jackson, PE! With more than 22 years of experience in project management, program management, and drainage design for transportation projects, Cristina brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

Lauren Blakeley, PE
Our Tampa (Temple Terrace) office has welcomed Lauren Blakeley, PE! Bringing over five years of experience in limited-access and arterial roadway projects, including roadway design, signing and pavement marking, and temporary traffic control, we are excited to have her on the team.

Chris Stermer
We’re thrilled to welcome Chris Stermer to PGA! Bringing over two decades of experience in utility coordination and subsurface utility engineering (SUE), we are excited to have Chris on board and expand our services.

Miguel Loubriel, PE
We are excited to welcome Miguel Loubriel, PE, to our Orlando Traffic & ITS Group! Miguel brings more than 28 years of experience in ITS design, installation, integration, and maintenance, as well as expertise in electrical engineering and construction inspection. Welcome, Miguel!

Leroy Chin, RLS, ISA
Our Landscape Architecture team has welcomed Leroy Chin, RLA, ISA. Leroy brings decades of landscape architecture experience, with expertise in PD&E studies, recreation facilities, and the production and management of roadway landscape plans. He also has extensive experience supporting local and regional systems planning across a wide range of projects. We’re excited to have him on board!

Nicole Henry, PE
Our Orlando office is excited to welcome Nicole Henry, PE! Nicole brings more than 10 years of experience in roadway design and plans production and has led and supported projects for FDOT Districts Four and Five, the Central Florida Expressway Authority, and other local agencies. We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes with the team!

Adopt-A-Highway
PGA has joined forces with FDOT District One to participate in their Adopt-A-Highway Program, a two-year volunteer commitment. PGA has agreed to provide litter removal along an iconic Florida location, the Sunshine Skyway South Fishing Pier.

STEAM Break Engineering Day
Our team spent the day at the Florida Children’s Museum giving children on Spring Break the opportunity for hands-on engineering experience. They discovered key engineering concepts, experimented with different tools and materials, and got a closer look at real-world engineering equipment.

MATHCounts
PGA is a proud sponsor of the FES Ridge Chapter MATHCounts competition. These events play a vital role in inspiring and supporting the next generation of engineers, problem-solvers, and STEM leaders.

Tampa Bay Humane Society
Our 25 volunteers spent a Saturday afternoon touring the impressive Humane Society of Tampa Bay facility, assisting with services at this organization, and got the chance to love on some adorable dogs, cats, and bunnies.

STEMapalooza
PGA volunteered with the Girl Scouts of West Central FL for the 12th annual STEMapalooza. During the event, the Scouts participated in our workshop, where they were challenged to build the tallest tower using spaghetti and marshmallows!

PGA Endowed Scholarship
Patel, Greene, & Associates Endowed Scholarship offers scholarships to full-time students, at all academic levels, pursuing a Civil Engineering major, in the College of Engineering, on all campuses. This scholarship is based on merit and financial need and can be awarded two semesters. You can apply for the USF Scholarship here.

FELI 2022: Connecting Communities
The 2022 Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI) Class (including Chris Cromwell) teamed up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace and MATHCOUNTS to build/deliver beds for underprivileged children.

Plant City Botanical Garden
For the first #PGAGivesBack event in 2021, PGAers, family, and friends volunteered at Plant City Commons Community Garden and worked together to help to clean up flower beds, vegetable gardens, and signage.

Heart Gallery of Tampa
PGA is a proud sponsor of the annual Heart Gallery of Tampa charity fundraiser. This organization fights to give Tampa foster children a voice and helps find them forever families. Learn more and ways you can support: here

Lakeland Cardboard Boat Challenge
PGA is a proud sponsor of the Lakes Education Action Drive – Lakeland Cardboard Boat Challenge – hosted on the beautiful shores of Lake Hollingsworth. One of our favorite annual events, the boat challenge focuses on raising awareness about Polk County lakes and the ways we can protect local water resources for future generations.

Back-to-School Fundraisers
PGA’s annual Back-to-School Drive is a company favorite. We collect school supplies, donate, and PGA matches monetary donations of staff and their families for Polk Education Foundations, Hillsborough Education Foundation, and A Gift for Teaching, in an effort to provide teachers and students in our communities access to the materials they need to have a successful school year.

FELI 2021: Connecting Communities
The 2021 Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI) Class (including Johnny Fung and Trevor Hawkins) helped connect students to virtual classrooms by funding and installing Wi-Fi towers in underserved communities.
